Default Probation Violation: Is there a timeline for transfer county to county?

My brother was taken into custody in KCMO for a probation violation in STL. He's been sitting in jail in KCMO. Is there a time-line that they must adhere to in transporting him to St. Louis? Thank you.

I canít say this for sure but i know when my boyfriend was sentenced he sat in count for 4 or 5 days. They did transports weekly so it may be that heís just waiting on paperwork and waiting for when that particular jail goes to the other. Here itís once a week. Then even after he was sentenced he still had to sit at diagnostics for 42 days before being sent to his permanent place.

Much will depend on whether there are any local charges. If so, then the duty to accept won't begin until locals are disposed of. If there are none, then usually you see transfers inside of three weeks (a ten day hold with an additional ten days often being granted).
