Default When will they transfer for court date? How long will he be in county?

My husband is currently at Osh Kosh

We have a re sentencing hearing on Friday.

Anyone have an idea when they might transfer him will it be the day of. Will he stay at county for a few days if he does do they get to call.

Typically it's a day or even two before - rarely the day of unless the sentencing hearing is in the same area.

More than likely he will stay at county for at least a day - again, depending on how close the hearing is to his prison. It could be even a few days.

As far as phone calls it will depend on where he is in the county jail. If he is kept in a holding cell then he probably won't be able to make calls. If they put him in a "regular" cell then he will be able to make calls. Remember, the phone systems are different between the county jails and state prisons - or I should say they were back in 2015 - so he would have to have money on his account for whatever phone system the county jail uses.

The bottom line - there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to moving guys around for hearings, etc... It just depends on how they choose to handle it and what else they have going on.
