We didn't met prior to him going in. However, I have been waiting on him. I must say I'm very discouraged at the moment though. I haven't heard from him in a month. Not sure what to make of that. With each day that goes by and no communication I feel more distant and hurt.

Our situation is rather different. We were married and divorced before he went to prison. We were "dating" sort of, more like hanging out, not real dates before he went in. His sentence is 32 years. According to the VA DOC website, he is scheduled to be released in 2040.

I said "YES" when he said we should get married again. We are not a young couple, so we don't know if we'll still be alive in 21 more years. I don't have anyone knocking my door down wanting to date me, so why not? We were married at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Big Stone Gap, VA on 9/18/18. We both love our wedding date!

Getting married didn't change much, but I do worry about when he gets out, if we're still both alive. He's 55 and I'm 67, so add 21 to those numbers, and you'll see why I don't believe we'll make it to living together again, even though we're both in good health.

I've hung with him for nearly 7 years now. I don't see any reason for that to change.

So, I met my guy 4 years ago while he was on vacation in florida. He's from NY and i'm from Florida, we dated for 6 months and had a really bad break up before he got locked up...While we were broken up we didnt talk at all and i had eventually found out through mutual friends that he got locked up. We then got over the past and put our relationship back together, but it has been very tough throughout the years for me to stay in the relationship because i never been in this type of relationship and plus he had alot of years and the courts were talking deportation, thankfully he's not being deported so im super happy about that. it was really tough...so it has been off and on bc i love him so much i cant just not be there for him...so now we're at 1 year and two months left and iam still trying very hard to stay strong for the both of us...now were talking marriage and babies miss him like crazy - Looking to connect with other ladies in similar situation
