Default Can my Husband Be Eligible for Parole After He Finishes His Classes?

So i called to see if my husband can get parole since he's a third felon they said not right now do you think after he finish these classes he will be eligible?

It probably would involve more factors than just him taking some classes. I guess it really just depends on his charges and who's reviewing his eligibility. I think the classes will be a nice addition to his file and will help but it may not be enough for him to be granted parole.

Your husband will not be eligible for parole until he is eligible for parole in spite of any classes that he takes. The classes will look good in his file, but that doesn't mean that they will make him eligible for parole any sooner than his rap sheet says. His rap sheet will state the earliest date he is eligible for parole.

Just got off the phone with him he just finished his classes how long does it take for calculation

Louisiana D.O.C. takes their sweet time in processing paperwork. It could take a month, like it could take six weeks. Are these classes going toward Good Time?
