Talking Places to live & work in Colorado?

Does anyone have a lead or tip into homes or apartments that will rent to a person with a felony? Also need a lead or tip onto jobs as well. This is for a woman with a child who has special needs. She has a non-violent felony and prefers to stay in the southern Colorado area or in to Colorado Springs, but will consider any area of Colorado..... Thanks!

Tell her to go and look into working for the airport. Sounds crazy, but lots of airlines hire felons... Also see if she can have somebody who isnt a felon co-sign for a place. Lots of places that are by owners dont ask about felony's... By all means, its very tough, but prison is way worse... She can do it! Best of luck! Ohhh.... google felon friendly companys in colorado, lots come up! Best of luck!

she won't be able to work at DIA...not sure where you're getting your info but she has to pass a 10 year background check just to work on the property. no way no how...tried applying as a chauffeur a few years back...couldn't get on because of my felony history and having to drive to/from the airport. best of luck to her...

DIA isn't southern Colorado, she could get hired by one of the rental car companies or one of the contractors that work at the colorado springs airport.
There are several large companies that hire felons. If I remember correctly, Safeway, Sears are two of them.

if she's working on the property, she has to pass a 10 year federal background check. it's been mandatory since 9/11. even if she's not working on the property, if she takes vehicles back and forth it would still apply even as a contractor.
