Talking My Lifer

I met and married my Lifer 10 years ago. Ten years of hand holding , talking
planning , fighting , laughing , and hoping after 3 denials ..... he was released last thursday and I was right there waiting for him I have to say
it was so surreal I have never wanted somthing so bad in my life and it just didnt seem like it was going to happen . The first thing he said to me was Thank you for being down for him these ten years now its his turn to b down for me and this marriage .... lol my man doesnt say stuff like that made me cry ... the minute he walked out of that prison i saw a side to him i did not know existed ..... I could feel the pressure on him slipping away ..... we had to drive 448 miles home he got to be home 1 nite then re-entry for 6 months
I have never seen my man this happy. I just want to say god is good he doesnt let anything happen before its time. 26 yrs he was in there and if he hadnt of went to prison he would be dead without a doubt . I just want to tell u ladys that are waiting for a man ...... your special it takes a special kinda woman to hang tuff and do that time along with them . But when its time the payoff him getting out there is just nothing sweeter ......
