Default Help Finding a Drug Outpatient Program in New York

Hi Ladies,

If anyone could help it would be gladly appreciated. Does anyone know where I can find info on outpatient programs to include in his parole packet? I have gone online but all I get is telephone numbers. I was hoping to find something more detailed to print and include in the package. His in on weed charges and we know they would want him to enter into a program. I am sending the packet in this week so any info would be great. If I don't have that documentation in time, i still have time to send it as he goes to see the board in May.

Thanks ladies........

oh by the way we are in the Bronx County but I am sure something outside of that would work.

Google your local churches- they usually have groups that meet. Then you can submit a type written letter on the details of their program and a copy of their website if they have.

Hey The parole packet is his support letters and the certificates his earned while in prison, his also including his resume to show how serious he is and the outpatient program would help as well.

I pray all of this works and brings him home.

Thanks again

Oh I wish you all the best! We're close to PB too and I'm in the process of prepping his package too. Sorry I didnt see this earlier, but there are oranizations such as Exodus, Osborne Association, etc. that offer ALL types of programs- they're called re-entry programs or transitional programs. they offer letters of 'reasonable assurance' for the parole board basically saying that he's acceped into it upon release and they'll work with him, yada, yada.

If there's still time, you can call some, they'll send the letters to him and the local parole office. Hope this helps! Blessings, hugs and kisses!
