Parole Violation plus new charges. What are the possible outcomes?
I need your help. I don't know what to tell my friend girl that got herself in more trouble here in Colorado.
She was sentenced to a halfway house for 90 days. In doing that time she caught new charges 1. Poss of burglary tools. 2. theft 2k-5k. both are felony cases?
When look up her charges we see them with addition to a community violation but it says expected release date is this month. When we tried to bond her because there is no bond on the violation from community we could not. What could her outcome look like you think?
She does not kill her number for 2 years. I know this was not a wise decision she made.
Thanks for your help in advance.
I don't think there's much you can tell her that's good . . . he's picked up new charges, and if she pleads or goes to trial, she's liable to do time beyond her 2 years . . . or it might bargain down and run concurrent. But she'll probably go back.

Therefore, the expected release date which is posted on her community correction violation we should not look forward to even if we pay the bail for the theft? We are just nervous about paying it only for her to still be held. DOC has not placed a hold on her yet. Is it possible that a parole hold will come down the pipes soon. She's been there since the first of this month. IJDK.
You've answered your own question. There is no bond for her release...her new release date will not be calculated until the new charges and the violation are addessed in court.

They will not let you bond her out if she has pending charges. The DOC website won't be updated with her new PED until the final disposition on her new charges have taken place.
