Hi,
My boyfriend is at MCC WSR and he is on lockdown for 10 days (which started on Friday).. He is only able to come out for an hour and a half a day for shower and phone calls. Not sure about other facilities.

I think my friend is at the same facility as your loved one. Is it Monroe?
My man is in Stafford Creek Correctional Center and he's only aloud out for 45 minutes a day atm. Loads of inmates have tested positive but so far he hasn't. His cell mate tested positive too! One inmate at his facility has died from covid too.
Washington DOC announced last week they will not be accepting new prisoners until July, 2021, due to the COVID-19 crisis. The prosecutor in the county where I now live said that is going to back up the entire system -- more people being held in jails and then releases having to take place because there will be nowhere to put people.. He is doing a report on this issue so I will know more soon...

I was just released from Staff Creek less than a week ago ( was there approx 5 months )
Covid-19 is everywhere thru the place. approx 1800 inmates and near 1200 positive cases.
I tested positive mid Dec.
They are trying their best ... but damage was done throughout the summer months allowing outside personnel ( guards - staff etc etc ) to violate wearing the masks properly when exposing themselves to inmates. And not providing a clean and proper mask to inmates. The 1st 3 months I was there I used the same mask. They simply did not replace or provide proper PPE
