Default When does DOC transfer inmate in protective management???

My dude has been in protective management for the past 3 weeks and currently pending investigation. When I spoke with his CO she said something about possible transfer my dude also said the same in his letter. My question is when does DOC transfer inmates on what days? Is there anything I can do to push things faster he told me to call up there but I don't want to seem like a bother. Also if he gets transferred would they move him closer to home since he has 8 months left in his sentence?

We will never, ever know ahead of time, about any transfer. That's a serious security breach for obvious reasons.

DOC moves in their own sweet time. No rhyme or reason and they like it, and probably pay someone good money, to plan it that way.

I have never known of anyone being moved closer to home regardless of how short on time (or any other reason, for that matter).

You can call but I prefer to email. please don't be afraid to call, just mind your manners and remember, it's just a high stress job for them, nothing personal.

Email is a good way to keep a record of what you said and what that person said. They will answer you back.

As far as transferring it will still be in the same zone he is in.
