I hate that everyone has to pay the consequence for one inmate's actions. It's unfair I was looking forward to seeing my husband this weekend.

Is that a category I missed at this year's Academy Awards LOL?!? Perhaps it's more like "Most Disruptions of People's Lives" award!

The maximum or the medium prison (not sure which one exactly) was on lock down first I'm not sure for what. My husband is at the camp and he was going to work at the prison passing put lunches. Then the guy walked off the camp last Sat and now the camp is on lock down too!!! Not sure if the prison is off now bit the camp is still on lockdown. Ughhhh.....I hope it won't be another week of no contact from my husband!!!

It's more like one of the Golden Raspberry Awards, the Razzies. I could suggest a bunch of other categories to the bop too, least helpful counselor, etc.

Now, THAT I can agree with wholeheartedly!!

One thing I hope all prison administrators realize...we are NOT stupid!
Also, they should know that there is strength in numbers because what happens to ONE of us happens to us all!

No, I have not! Our minutes were used up but they reset yesterday and I didn't get a call. I know if he could call he would have, so I'm a little worried. Not sure how long this thing will last. I haven't talked to him for 8 days. No emails either.

The company doesn't matter when it comes to the minutes right? You still only get 300 a month right? Or is there another way I don't know of?

That's correct, when the minutes are used up, no more calls until the next refresh date. They do receive an extra 100 minutes in Nov & Dec each year.

Lockdowns usually stop phone and email contact for everyone until they are either lifted, or modified.

I got a couple of emails today from my husband at the prison camp. He says visitation will resume on March 19th.
