I thought I read that someone "walked away" from a camp or facility a few weeks ago? hmm... if I heard right, the number hasn't changed to 4.. but perhaps I heard wrong....

Because all the numbers are a lie anyway. Who really knows what the count is. I wonder when the Judges will rule about counting Stockton?

Lies are what CDCR are all about. I wish someone in the media would pick up on all these angles. Especially with JB running for re-election. It's been said by others that the 3-judges aren't likely to rule until after the next deadline on June 30th. Will they actually finally put their collective feet down and force CDCR to comply with the court order? Good luck on that...

The walk away from Julius Klein was found in Santa Monica but I'm not sure if that's the one you are talking about.

It was just something I noticed. They had time to update, the escape was over a week before this report came out. Although the escape numbers are useless it goes to show cdc has no care in the world about those numbers as long as the overall % look decent.

This was a guy at Intermountian Fire Camp. He has not been found. He escaped last week, on Thursday I think it was.

what i wouldnt do to see REAL numbers ... wouldnt it be great to have the judges say. no counting stockton and them have the compliance officer show all #'s including those in transit. it would be career suicide for JB.

My husband told me that at vsp, there used to be eight in in a pod, now there's six. Something with the fire marshal. Where are all those extra people going? He also said alot are being shipped to the ccf in mule creek. The cdcr is still playing their numbers game. I'm waiting for the june status report tomorrow.

I'm sure the status report due this week (well, today) will be more of the same. I don't expect any action to be taken by the court until after the June 30th deadline, which is when I'd assume PLO will really challenge the bogus numbers. Of course, by then my man will only be one week from the gate (July 7th) but hopefully any action taken then will benefit many others.

Actually in the count system they use SOMS they generally move people on Tuesdays because the sending facility doesnt count them as soon as they board the bus. The receiving facility doesnt count them until they are officially processed in. The tranferred inmate usually drops off the count until Thursday when all of this process is cocomplete. Conceivably they could have several thousand inmates floating around on buses not being counted on count day.

on buses, hallways (not in a bed or counted as recieved AKA a floater).. Out to court etc. There are a lot of ways to be conviently missed in count by CDC
