I have a retired show cat...a Japanese Bobtail named Jumbeaux. He is 3-4 years old, neutered and gaining weight (that is why his first owner retired him). He is very affectionate, a lap cat, and my buddy.

I have one cat, a survivor from a set of brother cats I had. I lost the other before I moved back to GA about 2 months ago, a very sad day for me.

Soon I will be the proud owner of a beautiful Pitbull also

I wanted a pitbull, but my babe talked me out of it.
He said that he would kill my Oscar. So I'm going to look into a German Shepard. I'm not sure if that is any better though.

JR's...i've got pits and cats....my female pit sleeps with one of the cats and eats out of the same bowl....both are in-house pets...

the male pit outside doesn't seem to mind the older outside cats...i've seen them walk all around each other...

i believe its just the nature of the dog AND cat...they all think they run the place..wait a second...they do run the place...LOL

I have four cats, Zoosie 11 years old, Jutebe 11 years old, Big Boy 3 years old and Fester 1 year old.

They all have completely different personalities.

We had a pet Opossum named Opossie that I raised from a baby but he died in November from old age (2 1/2 years old), I was so sad. The youngest cat was best friends with the Opossum and he would climb into his bed and lay there with him and then he would jump on his back and they would walk around together. It was so cute.

I have a 51/2 month old dark brindle pit female "Miss Ellie". She is a real talker, if she wants you to know how she feels about something she will let you know. She doesn't bark at you she talks. She is a spoiled rotten little (35lb) girl. She even gets to go to work with me every day.

I have a 1 yr old Rat Terrier and a 4 yr old German Shepard. They both are my angels. Without them I would go nuts. Then again, they drive me nuts sometimes always wanting to lay in my lap. The Shepard thinks she is just a puppy and lapdog. She just doesnt get the fact that she is so large.

I have a 4 year old Shitzu, named Toto. My husband bought him for me, and you would think he gave birth to him as close as they are. He is the love of our lives, and he sure does miss his "daddy"!

I actually have 4 dogs & 2 cats, but only 2 of the dogs & 1 of the cats live with me know. My mom kept they other ones when i moved out. The ones that live with me are pits. I male, Sabbath, who is 4 months old & weighs 38 lbs. He is sandy, with a little white, and black on the tail & around both eyes. My female, Chinger, is black with white feet, white on her chest & tip of tail, and weighs 74 lbs at 13 months old. People tell me she is to fat, & i know it but she is my baby & so i spoil her. All my life i wanted a pit & my mom would never let me get one until i turned 18 & bought Chinger myself. She was always scared of them cause of the stories you hear. But now she will tell anyone it's not the dog that is bad it's the owner & the way they are raised. I now work at a vets office & i (along with my boss's wife) are more scared of a chihuahua than a pit. But my fiance's mom won't come over or let us take our dogs over there cause she swears up & down that pits are all bad & that one day our 2 are going to turn on us.

Here in Michigan I have 1 cat named prinsess (sp), 2 dogs A Corgi named Korkey (2 yrs old) he is my sons dog, I also have a Walker hound named Kurt he is my daughters dog.
Back home in Alabama I have 4 hourses and more barn cats than I can count. I also have a new alpackea (sp). he was just delivered last week. I still have'nt seen him yet.
Just for the record. Please don't drop animals off at farms thinking they will be taken care of. That is not the case. Some may indeed find good homes that way. But most are shot, or put down. House pets have no idea how to act on a farm with large animals. and they get in the way or scare the big animals or get hurt.
