I am am reporting to Fairton, NJ camp. I am wheel chair bound with secondary progressive MS. Should I have requested a medical facility? My attorney said that medical facilities are higher security and that the camp would be better. I wonder if I'll be able to get around in the chair. I am a newbie, any feedback will be appreciated.
Does anyone know of van or bus service that leaves Manhattan to go to FCI Fairton NJ. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I DONT KNOW OF A BUS BUT IM SURE WHO YOUR VISITING CAN FIND OUT
I WAS JUST THERE THIS PAST WEEKEND FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY AND I SAW LOTS OF WOMEN SHOW UP TOGETHER IN VANS I GUESS THEY MEET THERE
I ALSO TOOK A LADY I DONT KNOW SINCE MY HUSBAND ASKED ME TO CALL HIS FRIENDS MOM I MET UP WITH HER MAYBE YOU CAN DO THE SAME
I'm interested in the medium...have basics down after all these years but upon arriving at a new facility for visitation, I am one who likes to go in knowing exactly what I need to be doing and where to go!
just going by what the cos said, we where a satilite camp ( outside the fence) and very rearly allowed in but my understanding is that other then the fact that I has no towers unoffically its concidered a med to high security fascility
It's understood why you could consider it to be a high serving your time in a FSC. But...from my experience with visiting, it surely resembles a meduim as well as those who have been able to share experiences with me who have had loved ones in USP's as well.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some general information on the Camp at Fairton FCI. I know someone who is attmepting to get transferred to Fairton. I just wanted to know the conditions of this facility and any other non BOP website information that is available.
I have read quite a few of your posts, and appreciate your help! I am going to Fairton Camp very soon and would like to know more about your experience there.
What things they allowed you to have... how many books, glasses and/or contacts, what kind of exercise available, your bed/room description, fellow inmates and their demeanor, access to library and internet, uniforms...
I really appreciate any time you can give to help me understand what to expect and what i can bring with me!
My husband is at FPC Fairton. I do not know of any car pooling or van service. The prison is in the middle of nowhere. I wish i could help more. There are not many people on this website from fairton.
