I called on Thursday and got through to make an appointment. I was told that it would be better to call in instead of emailing. I called this week on Monday and got an appointment with no problem.

Hi, I have some questions about the dress code. What is with boots, heels, hoodies, and nylons? Are tights allowed? What clothes are definitely not allowed?
I'd like to wear something more elegant during my next visits, a nice skirt and nylons. But I'm not sure if it is allowed. Sometimes they seem to be a bit arbitrary about clothes.

They are really strict on the dress code and it all depends on who is processing that day. Just make sure you take extra clothing incase they make you change.

We can schedule apts for visitations? Its not a first come first serve. How long are the visits? What are the days and times we can go for and how many people? Can you wear jeans or just black pants.

Thanks for the reply! Today I visited my hubs and this joint is the worst I have ever seen about their clothing issues!!!!!! Couldn't get over how many visitors where wearing black cuz it's definitely one color they agrre with and the less hassle with the guards the better time we make getting to our visits with our loved ones!!! So unreal!!!!! Thanks again

Hi! Just wondering if anyone else has not yet heard back from visiting about an appointment for this weekend? I emailed this past Sunday night, and I have not received a reply yet.

I was wondering the very same thing I sent my request last Saturday (March 2nd) and then again on Monday and still no reply and I knows my hubs who is on B-yard is not on lockdown or modified schedule hopefully we will get more replies from our ladies out here and find out what's up I did notice a differnce in the person I was sending my appt. requests to which was Beatriz.DeLosSantos I received back an appt. request I had submitted for March 9th and was instructed not to send my requests to the Sergarant anymore but to send my requests to svspvisitingcdcr.ca.gov I wonder if this applies to everyone and if this is what could be delaying our replies?? Does anyone else been using the svspvistingcdcr.ca.gov to email for an appt as of recent please share???

Visiting appt will no longer be made in the visiting room or email. You have to call in until the VPASS is set up to make app. ALSO they are no longer wanding you if you set the metal detector off, they give you 3 chances and if the third time you beep then you will not be able to have your visit.
