Default Family Back ground for phone calls?

I know i've posted a lot in the past week or two but things keep popping up in my head.

Baby Daddy is in Eyman, Browning unit. When he called on Thursday he said he has to fill out a family history/back ground or something like that because I put in for visitation.

However, I did not. I only applied for the phones. Do they need a family background/history for phone calls?

I am in Canada and applied for phone calls which is the same application as the visiting. I did it online so i just clicked on "phone calls only" which does not carry the $25.00 processing fee. My pal only received the approved for phone calls and was not asked anything about family history. My pal is also at ASPC Eyman Browning Unit.

Mmm his brother told me he could be talking about the form they fill out when they first get in saying who might be visiting or something like that.

A 20 list? That's on him to fill out. I've never had an inmate need me to do anything for it.

It could be the info that's on their "break out" sheet. Its the quick info page they take with the guards whenever an inmate is moved (even if it's just between units in the same prison). That way f an inmate escapes the CO's have instant info with them about them. (height, weight, closest relatives, etc)

Yeah, it’s up to the inmate to actually add the person to their 20. When I first got approved he’d literally just landed at Lewis from Eyman and no one told him I’d been approved so he submitted the new 20 without me on it! So they took me off! Haha...he kept hassling them to add me and they thankfully did quite quickly!
But back to the actual subject because I digress!
Well I’m on the actual visitation list, not just calls and I never had to fill in anything more than the visitation form and obviously I had to go to Jpay and pay the $25 as where you don’t. That’s all though. Nothing about family history! I guess they just do a criminal background check but the info you put on the form is enough for that!
