I have a son with 377 days left and my hope is they will release him but I sincerely doubt NC will be releasing any prisoners.

More guidelines have just come out and some are getting released. I saw this on wral. Does anyone know the timeline from getting the HIV test to release date?

My brother said next week they will be releasing them. He said a total of 500. And they already released some pregnant women.

My guy told me today they've closed one prison completely and he was wondering to where they shipped those inmates?
He's okay though, they shipped one inmate out to the hospital yesterday, the COs are nice enough and they're taking their temperatures every day.
I'm not one to worry too much but now I do.

Johnston correctional was shut down over this past weekend so the staff can go help at Neuse Correctional that has 400 plus positive cases. The inmates from Johnston went to southern CI in Troy and a facility that used to house just parole violators I can not remember that ones name.

I can't wait for this shit to be over... even if they have visits again in May or end of May, I cannot get out of my freaking country... they've extened the rule to stop all commercial flights until end of May and I'm afraid that won't be the end of it. Panama is really strict.

Don't for get too that President Trump has signed an Executive order stopping immigration for a further 60 days due to the corona virus and that includes Green Card recipients.

The name of the other one used to be the Confinement in Response to Violation (CRV) center in Morganton, NC.

My son called today and said 3 inmates at Caldwell Correction were released.

1. a man in his '70's with 4 previous heart attacks
2. two men on work release with release dates next year. Minor medical issues.

The last two men were asked to sign contracts. I don't think they are legal but anyway...they have to leave their money earned from work release in the prison bank until their actual release date. Plus the prison is still going to take their room & board charge out of their work release money. Both men signed the contract to get out because they are afraid to die in there. But I don't think it's fair.

Hopefully, more of our family members will get out early. They are living in fear of this virus killing them before they get to come home.

My son has 364 days today!

Found a ton of info on here but my guy said they are releasing prisoners at random and it's all very "political".. they've e.g. released two guys formerly on death row and in for over 30 years. So let's just wait and see what's going to happen.

My guy told me that 6 people signed papers for release on Friday and his said that he was released as of April 17,2020. 2 people were called to be released yesterday. No one knows if he is going be be released early or not though. His projected release date is not until June. Anyone with any insight to help ease our anxiety would be greatly appreciated. I can't find any "good" information on it.

On WRAL they are now reporting 70 positive cases at the Women’s Prison here in Raleigh. I keep hoping they will do something to prevent this spread but get disappointed each day.

My guy told me today they have possibly an outbreak of Chlamydia at his prison.. 10 cases maybe.. I mean... have fun while you're on lockdown... LOL

Anyone heard anything about that?
