Are people still being sent to prison in NC during the pandemic?
I've seen things about early release due to COVID-19 in the prison system, but what about sentencing of current cases? Are people still being sent to prison in NC during the pandemic, and if so, what precautions are being taken so that they don't bring COVID into the system or catch it once they enter the population? Thanks for any information you can provide.
From jail to prison they have only sent a few. But starting next week they will start sending larger quantities of inmates that are backlogged out to craven esc. They are already transferring from prison to prison. Masks are used and cleaning surfaces but that is about it.

Actually... my boyfriend and the entire staff and inmates were all tested for COVID two days ago. That's Caledonia Minimum but I assume they're doing it everywhere?

Did you see this. I am so over covid! This is ridiculous. And they continue to do nothing to help.
I have not but it could be the Medium facility which is down the road from the Minimum... my boyfriend told me they are all good... which to be honest I don't really buy....
