Good for everyone with degrees. It is not easy. Next year I'll have an associates degree in liberal arts. Nothing will stop me.

I only have a college diploma in marketing, and a certificate in international marketing. I met my husband when i first started college. He was a friend of friends boyfriend. He didnt actually go to college, but he did go through educational training for transport driving, if that counts. If i can go for adult retraining eventually, i want to go back for nursing. And yes my education has nothing to do with my love for him.

My degrees are soooo old that I am surprised they weren't chiseled in stone. They have a yellow tint tho....

I have a BA in psychology and another BA in biology. I was going for my masters in biomedical science when I went through a nasty divorce with my kids father that put my education on hold. I will go back but now is not the time. I'm waiting until my better half comes home in one more year to return to school so I can finish school to become a physician assistant or I'm quietly debating starting all over again for law so I can become a defense attorney.

I am six classes away from gaining a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I am a single mother of a 10 year old and a 3 year old. My man has been locked up for 3 years. He gets out in less than 5 months. I have been working on this degree for about 5 years. I never give up, I have to be of good example for my family. My man is proud of me and is very supportive of my education. He doens't let his ego get in the way of my education.

High school dropout and BA degree w/some graduate credits. Didn't have a box for that on the poll . Not as rare as you might think.

I have my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I earned my degree at a New York, SUNY college. I am going back to become an RN within the next year. My fiance is very proud that I'm educated - one of the first thing he tells people about me is how smart I am, lol!

Yea my family brings up my education as well. I don't see how seeing an inmate is going to hold me back from my education. It's sort of silly actually. lol. Just because the person is in jail, doesn't mean they disappear off the face of the earth. Love is love no matter what. I don't see how that interferes with my education.

I've got an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. But I took a year off because when this all first started, as it was I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue the major and then I needed time to adjust. It was just not the best timing. And when the time came around, I decided to change my major. Now I am working on a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and I want to go all the way through with a Masters. And hopefully one day, I'd like to earn a certificate in Paralegal Studies as well.

While trying to hold two jobs. lol. Busy busy.

I'm an attorney. I decided to become a lawyer after I watched the "justice" system ruin my brother's life (mine and my family's as well). He's doing life but I will file his appeal and I have hope he will be on the streets someday.

Where I was raised my destiny was to be behind bars or dead, I beat the odds. I'm now a criminal defense attorney. This was my revenge to the state.

Next semester I'll have my BA in English with a certificate in TESOL and then I'll enter the masters in TESOL program and be teaching ESL courses at the community college level within two years from now. I feel as though other so-called "educated" people act as though an education puts them above the rest. My man did not have a college degree, yet he's the only man I know that can discuss Victorian poetry with me at 3am lol!
