Default New To CRAF Have Some Questions

Hi, I am very new to this so I have a question! my boyfriend was in bergen county for less than a week and got transferred to craf last thursday. Now from reading other forums Ive learned that i most likely wont get a call from him for a while but i still have to set up a GTL account anyways. But I do have two letters that ive written to him and Im thinking about mailing them out. But im scared that he will get shipped off to his home prison soon and might not be there when the letters get there. What will happen then? will they mail the letters back to me? or will they forward it to where ever he goes? I want to know because if they are going to send it back to me i rather wait until he goes to his home prison. Also, I made a valentines day card for him and its made out of construction paper and i printed pictures of him and I out of my computer and pasted them on the card. Do you guys think that'll be a problem? all your help is appreciated...thanks!

go ahead and send the letters, if he gets moved, which is probably unlikely by the time the letters get there, they will forward them to his home prison, it doesn't sound like the card you made will make it through, with glue on it and all.... the cards you send have to be pretty plain... you could try but it will prob. get sent back to you...make sure you put his SBI number on the envelope after his name... send it to

so and so... SBI #

by the way my boyfriend got his list approved for phone calls in 6 business days, it was pretty fast so you might wanna set the account up with GTL... sometimes it takes longer but at least you'll be ready... good luck!

Sorry, one more thing...just to be on the safe side i decided to jus make photo copies of the card...that way its just on regular computer paper and its more likely to get in...but i have one foto there where i am fully covered up but i have a shirt on that only has one sleeve and on the other side you see my whole shoulder and arm...do u think this will be considered provocative? Bc if it is ill jus take that foto off

Ok Im def confused now. I just read a forum where it said we couldnt send print outs to craft? Is this true? because i made photo copies of my valentines day card to send to him since the real valentines day card would probably get sent back? Will they not let him have the copies either since its basically the same thing as a print out?

each state is different... you may have read something about a diff state.

also, they dont like when you send print outs of copy written stuff like material out of the newspaper or a book or something.
