Red face South Dakota Felon looking for work

My Fiance and I live in Sioux Falls, SD. He was convicted of a felony seven years ago and has done his time. He is off parole and everything and is working hard to stay on the right path. he is currently working at menards but they will only give him 16 hours a week. Obviously he needs more hours than that, but every job he applies to tells him no they wont hire felons. Does anyone know of anything in the sioux falls area that will hire a felon? thanks to anyone with any ideas or information

Once off parole he doesn't have to tell people his criminal past. Very few employers check into things like that because it costs $$.
I've never been denied a job since leaving prison. Usually after working for someone a few months I come clean with my past. That why they can see my work ethics before they can judge me by my past.
