Default Dental care in IL DOC

any info on the dental care IL inmates can receive?

All they got to do is see if the facility offers it then put in a request for it

They examine their teeth but don't take x rays or clean the teeth. They pretty much just pull a tooth with a cavity. One inmate told me he walked in as another inmate left and the woman had not changed her gloves since seeing that guy. He walked out.

I am interested to see where you get your information. Cleanings are completed every 2 years during the month of their birthday (more often in facilities with dental hygenists), per IDOC directives. Also, I am not sure what facility you are referring to, but I know of at least 6 facilities that have daily dental sick call, including using xrays as needed, extractions, dentures, partials, night guards, medications, etc...
