Default Where can I find his release date?

My husband has been in federal prison here in NY for 6 months now and did 1 month at Rikers Island. He was just sentenced a week ago to several years in federal prison and I'm wondering if anyone might know where I can find out when his release date will be. The FBOP site doesn't state this info. Super anxious to have the LOML back Home

The inmate locator will eventually show his release date as computed by the bop sentence computation office in Grand Prairie Texas. You can confirm that it is correct by doing your own computation, which can be different from theirs.
https://www.bop.gov/inmateloc/

His actual release date shown will be the day his prison sentence ends, which will be after whatever time he spends in "community corrections", a half way house or home confinement (because he is still in bop custody there, just not living in a prison). It should be his total sentence, minus 47 days of regular good time for each 12 months, so if he is sentenced to 18 months, he will earn 1 1/2 times 47 days good time.

If he has been in a federal prison for 6 months, that won't be a problem, but his month spent at Rikers might be. If so, he needs to file an inmate grievance to have his release date corrected. His bop prison sentence started on the first day he was incarcerated for the crimes he was eventually sentenced under, regardless of where was locked up, but the sentence computation office sometimes misses time spent in local jails. The US Marshal's records will show if he was in their custody.
