Default Phones @ The Tomb (Manhattan Detention Complex)

Can someone tell me how the phones work at the tomb? Do they only get to call on certain days kinda like visits? I usually hear from him daily-- twice in the morning and then 3-4 times before phones shut off at night. Then 1 or 2 days I don't hear from him at all. Also, are phones open all day?

Hi BackAgain1123, I can't answer your question about the phones at the Tombs, but I do want to welcome you to PTO

Calls are free so it may be difficult to get on the phone. Also, when they go on lockdowns no one uses the phone.

WOW! I can only afford once per day phone calls. I wish I could afford to talk more. Is this a program or something?

She is talking about a specific jail in NYC called The Tombs.

The city changed calls to free for a certain amount. I forgot the number. There is no special program. This is a city policy.
