LOL..........that "ex-files" thing, omg you are not alone on that one. But don't feel stupid.......I wouldn't want my daugher's name to be the same as one of my husband's ex's. And as far as the name Ryan my husband didn't really like that one either. I'm sure the first time you see the baby's face that name will just "come to you" as I say.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!!!!!

I can think of three ways child bearing is most precious.
1. The actual act of making the baby.
2. The conversations and decision of a name.
3. Watching the child enter into this world.

My boys are named: Chance Edward, Vincent Tyre, Joshua Garrett, and Billy Jack. Each named after two male family members.
A daughter would have been named: Jacqueline Michelle. I think the name has a smooth pronunciation. A another boy name of my favor is: Eric James.

Humorous digression: Mr. Toe, my son Jack named a dog of his, "treehouse" because he slipped the puppy into a ten foot high (from ground) treehouse. The dog waited until he was inside the house before jumping. No harm was done except knocked cold for about five minutes. Jack came running in our house screaming, "My doggy, treehouse, My doggy, treehouse." The name stayed with the dog for about seven years until he went to "doggy heaven."
My son, Vincent, has a dog named "Blick" because when he was a puppy, my wife and I named him big black dog. Vincent being two nearly three, and barely talking well called for his dog saying, "Mere Blick".

Nicknames of prisoners: Dip, Frosty Eyes, Count Dracula, Juicy Fruit, Possom Head, Dog Meat, Solid Gold, Peaches, California, S.C. (South Carolina), Whip Cream, Sleepy, Lizard, Punkin Head, Pencil, Poppa Rock, Daytona, and Foxy Brown. Alot of prisoners went by nicknames instead of names.

I will, also, take this opportunity for congratulating the happy couple and wish all the best. Cherish the moments for they are precious and time seems that it passes so fast. The investment of time spent with your child(ren) is most rewarding and aids prevention of heartache. Good Luck and May God Bless the family. 38 Special

OMG! I don't know what to do anymore- you all come up with good names... I keep on changing my mind now!

Everytime I log off, I call my parents to tell them new names.

I will have to start sending Ernie some suggestions, because one thing I dread is not having a name on time!

I thank all of you for your input!

Tanya don't worry about copying all these names down! A list has already been started and added too daily. We'll get it together for you and send you and Ernie one. Cut off day will be October 8th! And then well post the top 5 for each girl/boy before Thanksgiving and start the poll voting!!! So come on everybody, suggest, suggest, suggest!!!

I'm only throwing one name at you.... Back when i was married, my step daughter had the prettiest middle name, and it has stuck with me ever since. IF I ever decide to have children and have a girl, I'd name her Juaquava

Skylar, Cameron, Siobahn (pronounced Shavonne), Noelle, Madeleine, Shontay, Sierra Rose, Naomi Rose. I LOVE the name Rose for a middle name, it goes with anything just about. How about Summer Rose? I like the name Wynter for a girl too! Amber Dawn too.
