That's awesome! I will warn you lol. It starts getting harder! But just push through and continue to think of the outcome and how great of a career you will be able to start. I have a little over a year left and can't wait for it to be over lol

It sounds like your fam needs to just f* and LEAVE U ALONE!!! I have a degree in Political Science & African American studies, and I also have my Master's of Science degree in Nursing. You love who you love. Period, point blank. They cannot live your life for you.

I have my Bachelors in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and I work a very good union job for a major company doing customer service. I live in a fairly small town with a strong good ole boy network so this job is one of the best jobs here and I dont have to put in a million hours a week like when I did work in management. My hubby has no college but is way smarter than I am about alot of things. My family is disappointed I am wasting my degree and my life...their words, not mine. I guess that is why Ive had no contact with them for the last few years.

My man has multiple degrees from life!
He is not beneath me or less than cause of it..
He is smarter than me and sometimes see's things I just can't.
You love who you love and that is that.

I have a Bachelors in Business Administration and a certificate in Paralegal Studies. My family and friends do not understand why I am willing to wait for someone without credentials and who is incarcerated. I tell them to live their life and I'll live mine. The heart wants what it wants.

I have my Masters in Business and I am upper management for a Federal Agency. Education has nothing to do with our love life. I get the same lecture all the time and I have to thank them for their "positive" words but also let them know, since I am educated I am also very capable of making my own decisions

I am in my last year of my undergraduates studies and will be majoring in Criminal Justice.

To a certain point, I can understand a family's concern about dating an inmate. My family was against it but that soon changed when my brother ended up in prison. Bottom line and as the other ladies have said, your education has nothing to do with your love life.

You just can't help who you fall in love with...I know I sure can't and I don't regret it at all!!!

I have my Associates in liberal arts and my BA in Sociology and journalism. I plan to go to grad school for a Masters in Social Work. My hubby has been the reason to get into social work. My education does not make me better or dictate who I love. It has actually been better for our relationship. He will be working on his A,A soon, but aside that he always been smart.
