Default Dying in California prison..

We jumped all the hurdles and thought he was home when he got his recommendation for sentence recall. He got a court date, then there was a postponement. Three more weeks, the court date was Friday. The DA and the judge say that he may live longer than six months, even though ten doctors have stated that they feel he has 6 months or less, his sentence recall was denied....

I'm very sorry. Many prosecutors are ruthless and have zero empathy for anyone, or for their families either.

The Court made this decision not our State Corrections. I would believe he can appeal. What Court heard his recommendation?

His medical care is very costly. What if you got New Mexico to medically accept him to live with you as his caretaker, taking the burden off CA state for his care. That might create an incentive.

How much time is left on his sentence? Maybe they took that into consideration.

You two have fought it this far, so don't stop now. Find out exactly what it would take for Appeals to reverse it to "granted". What about having a San Diego hospice doctor visit him, even if you had to pay out of pocket?

Keep us posted in the CA forum section on PTO and let us know what we can do to help.

Blessings!!

Found a lawyer that is working on an emergency appeal! All your prayers must be working. Thank you all.
