Default 2 years

2 years ago I said go bye to my honey in the morning, texted in the afternoon, by 1 pm I couldnt get a hold on of him. By the end of the tonight, I still has no idea, but part of me wondered. Next day he called and the journey began.

Time flies which is incredible. Still living with unknown variables. Up for a program in 44 days, but who is counting. Or another in a year and 44 days or gone for another 4 years.

Waiting in the last few months to pass has us on pins and needles to say the least. He def has short timers. I think I do too.

I promised him yesterday I would stop crying. He is exhausted of it and so am I. Lol I said tomorrow is 2 years. It is enough of mourning all this.

I ask for prayers for what comes next. If he gets this program, he will be home by the end of the year. He is so nervous about it. He is nervous about everything.

It has been a roller coaster of a journey and we both want off the ride. Going for a swim in the lazy river would be nice or the ferris wheel.

Thank you for supporting me and us during this time. It means the world. Im so ready for him to be home and nervous as hell.

When you get to the point in the journey where you can look back and realize just how quickly the time does go by, I hope you also realize that you have become stronger and take some comfort in that. This is not a growth exercise that I would recommend participating in, but its what we've all been dealt. I'm glad you two are on the last leg of this journey Current agenda: 1) Complete Program. 2) Come Home. Sending you both lots of positive energy

I just wrote him a long ass letter. Part of it included all we have learned him and I both. Helps with perspective a lot to see it all in one place.

I just want him to have more peace in his heart and his head during this time. Our minds are our worst enemies.

Aw thank you ladies! You almost made me tear up.

So holy crap! He has his screening tomorrow for his program. Big prayers please! We didn't expect it to be now. He waited like 10 min into the call to say oh by the way... we had a challenging weekend and today def lifted both our spirits. The waiting and anxiety was getting to both of us.

Hopefully, by tomorrow night I'll know more. All I know is once he signs papers they have 15 business days to ship him off. Not sure what happens tomorrow. We just pray we get this show rockin and rolling. It is in god's hands.

Much love!

Thank you! My head is spinning. Wont know anything until tonight. Got to get my day started, but trying to control my mind from getting ahead of itself.

For 2 years, this is all we planned for and it is here. I researched everything to death. Even did more last night, but there is nothing new. He sees his regular counselor this morning and the screening is tonight. I'm trying to get myself together before he calls this afternoon or I'll drive him crazy. Our brains work very differently. I'm tangent queen and he cam focus on one or 2 things at a time. I'll make him nervous and he was in a good place last mentally last night.

This whole situation makes you very self aware. I can be too intense and a perfectionist, so I'm still learning to dial it back and go with the flow. It is not easy!

If he gets denied, work release next year. If that does then merit the year after. So at most is another 2 years give or take, but I really really want it to be this year.

Time to work a bit and get this day moving. I'll keep you'll updated!

Thinking of you and understanding quite well your frustration with the whole system!! It is a never ending roller coaster!! It does get better but the roller coaster does not end as I am learning! My husband was signed the papers to go on home confinement from the hwh on Tuesday and was told approval is usually within 24-48 hours. Well we have just hit the 48 hour mark! was hoping he would be coming home tonight but isn’t looking that way. If he isn’t approved by tomorrow, he will be stuck there for the weekend because their nonsense policy is if you’re approved for direct home confinement then you can’t be given weekend passes. Stupid! So he waits for the final bop approval for the home confinement and their bs excuses!

Anyway, I hope your guy’s stuff gets rescheduled soon and it he gets in the program so you can have a happy homecoming!!

He signed today. Next week will find out if he is medically cleared. So if all goes well he will be moved sometime next month. Then start the last leg of this journey!

Thank you for the prayers. Please keep em coming!
