Thank you for the info! Mine will call every chance he gets even if it's literally one minute before he emails. lol He hates the entire process they go through for emailing and is not about to give the Feds a penny more than what's required. We don't have much longer to go so he is really crunching on the money. I wondered if they were on lockdown. Yes! This forum has saved my sanity several times with other ladies knowing what's going on. lol

Haven't gotten a call since 5/22. Something with the phones, even though they have a bank of 9 new phones there. There is ALWAYS something going on with the phones and computer stations, keeping them off them.

I was just about to get on here and ask if y'all heard from them lately. They do a really nice job at keeping them from their family.

The system is designed to keep people down. That is why it is so important for us to lift our men , bothers and sons up and keep them positive and on the right track.

I agree! They want to tear us apart and break the inmates. We don't let them ruin our 15 minute dates tho :-)

Exactly!!! Outside support is the key to success. We have to be strong out here so that our guys can survive in there. We hold the key to getting them out and keeping them out of that place. My hubby and I email over 50 emails per dative phone call per day, and we write to eachother at least 5 times per month and I keep money on his books. No stress is the key to success!

Same here but we write more than email. We love each other's voice and to actually have something the other has touched over the emails. :-)

That's so true. It's like I can feel, smell and hear him in his letters. Not so much in the emails. I get to see mine nextweek end!!!!!! I am so excited.

Exactly!!! That's why we could completely do away with email. It's a nice surprise when I see it pop up but I'd give that up for him feeding the mailbox. It's always exciting to go even with it being so exhausting at the same time.
It's def not a vacation. Just stepping into the reality of another world. I was there in February. We haven't planned my next trip cause he's being transferred but best believe I'll be at that place within a month of his arrival lol
I hope those ladies are as good as we are about keeping us all in the loop. This site has helped lots.

How do you always find out to post? Does your husband have a job at the USP? I'm very grateful that you get so much info.

Thank you! :-)

I know! lol
I find out here then he tells me. But this is always the first to let me know. He's about to be moved and I can only hope the next group of ladies will be as kind, supportive, informative and understanding as you ladies have been. I can handle the lockdowns. It's just the unknown of knowing if he's injured or if it's actually a lockdown :-)

You guys ....LOL. Sometimes I get a heads up from my hubby, sometimes I call and they are kind enough to tell me. My hubby is in max at Terre Haute so no he doesn't work there. I do work very closely with several law enforcement agencies though.

Haven't heard any updates as of yet. Just that the recording says the usp is locked down until further notice. Which sucks because I'm supposed to fly out to visit my fiance tomorrow and I may have to cancel my flight if I don't hear anything soon.

I do know that there were three fights Tuesday morning and one was pretty bad. That's the reason for the lockdown.

Did they indicate how long the lock down would last?

Unfortunately no, just until further notice. I'm going to call back up there later to see if they will be out by tomorrow. Hopefully they have an a swer for me. I'll keep you posted with what I find out.

While on the phone with my fiance before count at 330, he stated that they were going to lock them down for the rest of the day and they are supposed to be back out in the morning. Not exactly sure why, he didn't know. But just thought I would let you know just in case you didn't hear from your significant other/family member anymore this evening. Now note that this is what he had been hearing.
