Older thread, I know. But I'm browsing because I'm lonely and missing my guy.

His sentence is life. He's fortunate because he was being looked at as potential death penalty.

20 years; he pleaded out to the minimum. It stinks because he's guilty by association. BUT he's got less than 4 years to go, and I'm thankful he'll see the light of day in the near future.

My older sibling has been inside (California Medical Facility) 36 yrs on a 17-LIFE sentence for 2nd degree murder. He received a 3 year denial this past Feb. I'm of the sad opinion he'll probably not make it out. The victim was a federal witness.

Manslaughter, awdwiki, inciting a riot, firearm by felon. He was looking at 20 to 25. But ended up with with 5 years and some change. Even though his charges are violent. That happened all in one night but he is a sweetheart. Even the judge said he could tell that he was a good kid and he recognized all the support that he had that day. So he is blessed.

My older sibling is serving 17-LIFE for 2nd degree murder in California at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville. He's been gone since the summer of 1984 and just got handed a 3 year denial back last month.

On year 14 out of 16 (total time between county & state) for aggravated assault causing great bodily injury with charges of witness intimidation for the benefit of a gang and attempted murder for the benefit of a gang.
