My Son is in Northfork and seems to be ok. His letters have a better tone then in the past. I am sure your husband will be ok. This is a new facility and seems to be ok

Here are some links for you , the last one is the last one is the visitation form, you can fill it out and send it in. If you aren't getting answers from the visitation officer ask to speak to his Case Manager or Unit Manager.

Just asking can she use those forms since it is not an Oklahoma prison? I'm guessing they are either Az or Co. inmates.

It is an Oklahoma prison just a private one and they are contracted through Oklahoma Department of Corrections, even though they are out of state inmates they go by Oklahoma policy.
can you imagine how confusing it would be to have to seperate everything out by states?

It is just a faster way of getting the process going instead of waiting on the inmate to send them to you.
alot of times the inmates will hear "Oh, we are out of those forms but we have more on order" from the staff and this slows the process even more.

Oklahoma DOC doesn't have anything to do with the contracts??? The contracts are bewteen CCA and that state?? That states's DOC are the rules they go by.

Ok so lets get technical about it, either way they go by DOC rules and policies.
The forms on the DOC page will work for visitation, i was simply giving her a shorter route than waiting on an inmate to send them out.

Hi all! My husband was recently transferred to North Fork as well (from Colorado). We're the exception to the rule because he's actually much closer to me now than he was in Colorado. I live in Arkansas.

No one had heard from him in 11 days and we were all panicking. He was finally able to call his mom last night. He is actually very happy in the new place, and it's such a huge relief!!

I just filled out a new application because I've changed driver's licenses since I applied the first time. Do I just mail it to the North Fork prison? Can I fax it?

Thanks!
~Lainie

PS...the only bad part about him being moved closer is that I had family in Colorado Springs that I could stay with when I would go see him. Now I have to get a hotel when I go. Does anyone have the name of a good hotel near Sayre?
