My very good friend is in MCI Cedar Junction. I dont get to hear from him as much as i like as i am on the west coast and dont get to see him. does any one have a list of things that can and cant be sent there? i have read the policy but its very confusing. Also does any one have the listing on how to add money to a inmates account as i have to mail it and dont have the info as to where it should go. I really want him to be able to have some other things for his year there, and to have some thing bult up so when he gets out he doesnt fell straped, and i want to know if i can do this with out him finding out.

Unhappy

My name's Dee and my boyfriend (father of my children) is currently in MCI Shirley Medium, he has been there for about two months and was in Concord before that. We haven't seen him in the two months he has been in Shirley and I am afriad that my 15 month old doesn't know him anymore . It is hard to travel to the prison unless you have a ride (I think it is even required to be dropped off in a vehicle ) . But hopefully he'll be in a better location in a few months , until then I will be attempting the commuter rail and taxis but I'm gonna make it (I hope ) (I need a ride lol )

Mine just got to FMC Devens on Wednesday. Oct.6,2004........now waiting to hear from him. If I wrote to him so soon after he's arrived there, will he get the mail? Or is there some kind of waiting period..I don't have any idea what goes on the first few days after the transfer....

My father received things right away at Devens...He just sent another letter yesterday saying all was well. I know it is hard, just practice some yoga and breathe....never forget to breathe.

Hugs and love

Hi everyone! My fiance is now at MCI Shirley medium. I'm from Worcester and go up there every Thursday and Sunday. I had seen some are having trouble getting up there to see their loved ones. I know its hard sometimes to get transportation to jails, been there before!!! If I can help with a ride, let me know.

Hi Mike! Welcome to PTO. Unfortunatley Inmates do not have access to the internet, all of us here on PTO are the outmates of our inmates.

But welcome again!

Hi Sandra,
I'm sorry to hear about the amout of time your friend is gonna be behind bars , and I don't know how he'll be treated ?by the nature of his case and all,but what know is that you'll be okay when my daughters dad was sentenced to 12-20 years in 1996 I thought my life was over and today is just a very bad thing that happened to us although the first 2 years were very hard so hang in there be strong for him and stay strong in your faith for god and remember time heals all. Happy Holidays

God Bless!

I'm new here too! My man is at Old Colony as we speak, but by next week he should be back at Shirley Max(SBCC).. which sucksss!! He's been all over though... Walpole,Norfolk,Concord, do I really need to type the list! lol I liked Old Colony, CO's were pretty laid back as far as visiting, not a strict dress code either... but they wanted him out of there and got their wish.. Been in seg going on 30 days waiting to be shipped out from some bogus charges... Gotta love it right!
