The recording at the usp is normal..it doesnt say anything about a lockdown..so maybe it was just for today and hopefully they come out in the morning..

My friend is supposed to call in about 6 hours from now (roughly about 9 to 10 am Louisiana time), if he doesn't call, then maybe something is up. Will keep you posted.

Hi ladies.....when we do not hear from our loved one.....it is not due to anything but the fact they are in a "controlled" situation. (well somewhat controlled considering last lockdown) Meaning.....they sometimes have to wait ALL day in line for the phone, missing a meal, and so on. If something has happened to them....aka "in the hole", transferred (which he knows this weeks ahead, so you will know already), or something none of us want to speak of - you would not be able to email him. The email would get cut off immediately. We have to have FAITH in our loved one and no sense in worrying....it only drives us ladies batty, makes 'him" feel worse and honestly gets us no where!! We all need to make our other half feel good or the best we can in his miserable, sometimes inhumane living situation. We on the outside do not have it easy however we do have it better than him. I hope this helps with the worry part on your side....I have experienced this far too long & speaking only from my experience only. I just really wanted to lesson the "worry" for anyone that cant seem to get away from it. It took me a very long time.....to "understand" the system and to get wtf he was trying to tell me. I made it worse on him with this "worry"!! Granted I still worry here n there(and he does not know this), but certainly not as much!! Which in return has made it easier on him....and that is the most important part of this. He will call....he will write.....and he will email....you are all that matters in his life!!!

I got a mail that there is a lock down in the USP on Wednesday until 5pm because of a staff meeting - so don't worry if you have no call or mail in the morning

I know he is in pollock medium fci . I usually in the past week get 6 or 7 emails a day

Sorry can't help you, mines in the usp high dont know much about the medium. I just actually talk to him a little bit ago, guess he was busy earlier today.

Ya the Pollock high was on lockdown until 5pm yesterday, but they weren't today. Idk though are the Pollock high and medium in the same building? I'm not sure but I thought they were 2 different facilities?

Does anybody know if the code for sending $$ through western union changed??i know it was fbop dc..but now im told its different..does anybody know?

No it hasn't, I find it easier to do it western union online

are you doing it online or going into western union? You come be doing a small typo if your doing it online; it has happen to me like once before and when I found the mistake that I was making it when thru find.

Im going into the western union store and sending it..ive tryed like 5 different times and each time it says the register number isnt in the bop database..idk what to do?

Never tried Western Union so can't comment there. Maybe try Kitesender if Western Union is still not working for you. That's the only other way I know how to send money online.
