This is so great and something we can send to our guys in prison. Many guys ask their loved ones "so, what's going on in PTO" and now we can send them these. It helps the long term guys (and others also) to know that at least someone is talking about them (even if we don't know who they really are) and that they are not forgotten. I know my guy always says "Go ahead and talk about me on there, that way I know I'm still alive somewhere besided behind bars". A newsletter is the perfect thing to share with them and thank to to everyone that worked on it.

Thumbs up Great idea!

I really enjoyed reading the newsletter. It has the feel of PTO, just a little more intimate. I look forward to sharing this with my love. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication in providing us with another means of support through our love ones incarceration

Great newsletter! My son is in a job readiness course at our local Goodwill. He was recommended to it through our state's department of rehab services. The class has been great for him and he was selected for their transitional work program where he'll be receiving paid training!

The interview was heartbreaking. I can't imagine the pain of burying your own child.

The history lesson on prison reform reminded me of our Sunday school lesson today about serving others as Jesus did. What a remarkable woman she was!

Looking forward to the next issue!

Thank you so much for this! It was very informative and supportive. The story that Nevaeh shared about her son, I myself have dealt with addiction with my husband who is currently incarcerated. It's been the biggest struggle for us and I hope everyday we have beaten the addiction. Thank you so much for that story, it makes you truely appreciate the life you have, and don't take it for granted.

Love the news letter and I am sorry to be the first to leave some (negative) feedback, but I think we want this make this perfect, right? I wanted to print it and send it to 4 of my pals and I printed 1 to see how it came out. First thing I noticed is that it is costing me my blue ink lol and second the white letters are not very clear and really small especially on page 5,7,9 and 11, so I cannot send it to the pall with the bad eye sight. I tried going to the store and copy the original blue edition, but it came out even worse in black and white. So I decided to just send this edition to 1 pal . Maybe next time with just a white background and colorored letters? Sorry for the negative feedback, but I really would love to send this to as many penpals as I can.

No worries, this is good information for us to have. I have printed it at home and have some copies professionally printed as well. There were no problems on my end whatsoever, infact they came out better than I had imagined but we are grateful for the feedback and will most definitely take it into consideration. Thanks so much.

I think you will find that the word version is less heavy on the blue ink than the PDF version.
We can certainly make sure that we have just a very plain version next time, easier to read and a little bit cheaper to print at home.

I read through the latest edition and I'd just like to say that I loved it! It brought me a lot of happiness and strength knowing there is a community built to support and welcome all those who are a part of the legal system, inside and out. Thank you so much!

I just finished reading the PTO Quarterly and think it is outstanding. I enjoyed the articles and touched home on many points. We all have so much in commen. Thanks to all that were involved in this publication. Very well done. Thanks to PTO for getting me through many years while my hubby was incarcerated and after he got out. PTO is a great support.

Default This will create a stronger community.

I think this newsletter is a wonderful thing and that it will greatly contribute to the strong community here at PTO. It's informative and allows people to express themselves. It is also a breath of fresh air for those of us who need a good laugh or just to crack a smile. Thanks so much for the time and hard work that was put into this.

Hello? I can't figure out how to use this site! Where is the supposed PTO Quarterly Newsletter? I click on it and just get people's reactions to each other. Is that the newsletter?
