When do they get their discharge papers?

Does anyone know when you get your discharge papers or when the jail gets them?? My husband is suppose to get out september 1st and they say they still havent gotten his discharge papers just his parole recommend paper. Also they already came and did his home placement.

I'm not sure exactly when they receive their Gold Seal from Frankfort other than they'll have it when he's released September 1st. If not, as I understand things, he will not be released until they do have it.

He had some holders that i hired a lawyer for today and it will be taken care of tomorrow. I asked because they let some people out today early that was suppose to parole out September 1st..

He probably hasn't been released yet because of the holders. And the jail will not let him know whether they have the papers or not until they tell him to pack up.

Patchouli, isn't the Gold Seal sent once they are off paper for good? If so, he'll be on paper when he's released so he won't get one.

No, My Mr has never been off paper

, but he's mentioned waiting on the Gold Seal in the past. I just asked him...he said the seal is on the paperwork, I guess more like a copy.

Yep, I found Myt Mr's release paperwork....the seal itself looks like a stamp (think notary stamp), that is on an original with the inmate's copy being just that, a copy.
