Welcome to Prison Talk Sharon. The beginning is often the hardest time for being able to stay in contact with your fiancé. It will get easier once his initial processing is finished. He should be able to write immediately, but have difficulty getting stamps and stationary. Check with his prison/jail to find out if you are able to visit him.

Here's a link to the FL prison forum

and what FLDOC says about maintaining contact with inmates.

Hi welcome to PTO I have amended your title so members will know what help you need.
If your loved one is in reception it may be a little while before he can call or write. He may not have access to stamps or money on his books. Try not to worry too much I am sure he will be in contact as soon as he can.

Unfortunately it may just be that you need to be patient and know he will contact you when he can. A prison relationship calls for a lot of patience and understanding that there is very little you can do about it.
You need to take care of yourself as putting yourself through this stress isnt good for your health. He will be in contact so take some timeout to do the things you enjoy whilst you wait.
