Default Are there any conservative Tattoo magazines that can be sent to inmates?

I am trying to find a tattoo magazine that is half way conservative. Within his facility it even varies what gets through and what doesn't at different times.

For example at my LOs facility, a woman shirtless, EVEN if she has her hands covering her boobs is considered sexually explicit. It could be considered simulating "mas.........". I don't believe they can get maxim magazine, if that gives you an idea on guidelines.

The goal isn't to push the limits on erotic photos, it's to get tattoo art/articles etc to him. (Not that he wouldn't like both, lol)

There is a site called inmatemags that has a log of magazines that have been rejected from specific facilities. Some prohibit anything to do with tattoos. Hope that helps you.

That's a really good resource to know about. I'll add it to our links directory.
Thanks!

Edit: Looks like the company already posted one in there.
I'm also moving this thread to the Body Art forum for more exposure to the question, and leaving a permanent re-direct

Awesome list, thank you!

In AZ they don't allow anything that has tattoos or tattoo designs generally. You can't even send a picture of a tattoo you just got to your LO.

When I was in the feds, the warden at my prison blocked them due to the fact he didn't want to give any of the guys inside design ideas... Not for the amount of skin it exposed.
He was on a tear to try to eliminate the homemade tattoo guns, for some reason. The tattoo magazines I did see, were well worn, and highly prized.

probably the usual offenders - MRSA, Hep C, HIV, and other diseases easily transmittable when using tattooing equipment that can't be autoclaved.

This I never thought of, probably why it's been impossible for me to find something.
