Default Question re: Pennsylvania State Prison medical problem

My buddy described a large growth in his scrotum that is painful all the time. He has tried to get treatment several times for it but is getting responses from the medical team like, "Oh, that can't hurt," or "we can't do anything about that here."
When he was in Coal Township SCI, an ultrasound was done.
He was never told the results of it. After the test was none, it was never addressed by the medical team.

He is currently in Waymart SCI. Pennsylvania and has 21 months to go.

Anyone who knows the Pennsylvania system have any suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

I think he should send a written request to the medical department asking them for the diagnosis that was made from the ultrasound. They may tell him to report for sick call and then discuss it with him there. Or they may tell him on the request slip.

If the request slip goes unanswered, he can send a request to the Superintendent, asking that Medical answer his questions. After that, he can file a grievance.
