Default Prison radio Wed night 7pm on CFRC 101.9FM in Canada/Updated

Hi, I'm reeko. I set up this account years ago but haven't used it much ... I'm happy to be back. I'm helping with a prison radio show in Kingston, Ontario and have some friends inside... I'm hoping to use these forums to share ideas about communicating with our friends and loved ones inside as well as keep track of what's going on. Look forward to sharing ideas!

Lightbulb Send a message/song/shout-out to a prisoner (Kingston area)

Do You Know Someone Incarcerated in the Kingston Area?

Calls From Home is a monthly segment on CFRC 101.9FM's Prison Radio show that connects friends and family with their loved ones behind Kingston’s prison walls through the power of community radio. The holidays can be an especially difficult time to be apart from loved ones and community. This is a great time of year to let prisoners in the Kingston area know that you’re thinking of them – by sending a greeting, requesting a song or poem, or leaving a voicemail message to be read or played on the radio. Personal and general messages of support are both welcomed and encouraged! CFRC Prison Radio will be broadcasting our special Holiday Calls From Home on Wednesday December 20th at 7PM. Tune in to 101.9 FM in Kingston or online at CFRC.ca To leave a message, call 613-329-2693, email cfrcprisonradio [at] riseup [dot] net, or message us on Facebook or Twitter @CPRKingston

Google "CFRC Prison Radio" to find our blog and get more info.. Thanks!

Default Send a song or message over the radio in the Kingston area

Do you have a family member or friend incarcerated in the Kingston, Ontario area?

Calls From Home is a CFRC radio show (and monthly CFRC Prison Radio segment) that connects friends and family with their loved ones behind Kingston’s prison walls through the power of community radio.

Friends, family, and anyone supporting those incarcerated can leave a message on our voicemail at 613-417-3359, email us or on Facebook.

Messages will be broadcast over the airwaves on the last Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm EST for those behind prison walls to hear. You can tune in at 101.9fm in Kingston or online at CFRC's website.

The CFRC radio signal carries into six prisons in the Kingston area and one in New York State, including Collins Bay, Joyceville, Millhaven, Bath, Quinte Detention, and Cape Vincent Correctional.

We seek to provide messages of love and support to those behind prison walls. If you have a loved one you wish to send a message to, please call, email or contact us on Prison Talk or Facebook with a greeting, song request, or poem and let them know you are thinking of them.

Or write us a letter:

General messages of support to prisoners in Kingston are welcome and encouraged, too!
