Exclamation Extradition Oregon - Georgia. Will GA come get him? Can he return to Oregon

How often does Georgia Extradite?

My boyfriend is on Parole, we moved to Oregon where he works 2 jobs, and stable place and reliable transportation.
One county here found out he had a extraditable warrant locked him up released him the same day, he had to report to court every thursday to see if Georgia had giving any feedback on if they are coming to get him, another county the county he works pulled him over on a suppose running a red light ran his name same warrant still in the system so they lock him up after being told he is handling this matter in the county 10miles from here. They contact Ga.... Ga reissued the warrant, and supposedly Ga put in the system or noted that they are coming to OREGON to get him.

Do you think they will? if so once he go to revocation there will he be allowed to get an interstate compact to come back to his job?

At some point in time, an agency WILL spend the money to have a third-party transport company pick him up. His better bet is to travel to Georgia and secure counsel and then self-surrender.

The matter is NOT going to go away on its own. I've had clients brought back to Texas from both the left coast and the East Coast on warrants that were more than twenty years old. Where discretion is to be had, it is FAR easier to obtain on a self-surrender than on an arrest outside of the jurisdiction. Extradition transports are NOT fun and they are NOT direct.

At a particular point in time, they might release him, at which time the warrant simply gets re-published. There is not a re-issuance of the warrant since the warrant is still valid. When there is a 'hit' on the subject, the warrant is noted as a cancel/confirm, meaning that the confirmation of the warrant resulted in the cancellation from the NCIC network. There is no limit to the number of times a warrant may be re-published.

If he's revoked, he'll have do to some time. If he's not revoked, he can apply for Interstate Compact, but if he has no family in Oregon he won't qualify for IC as I understand it
