Default Update on Barber Amendment?

Anyone has any update on this? I was talking to my husband today and he said some people had visits this weekend and the visitors told them the bill passed on Friday. I can't find anything about it online, even FedCure doesn't seem to have an update. Are those people mistaken? Thanks!

The only law that passed on November 1st was the crack amendement. I'm not sure the exact guidelines, but it is only for people in federal prison that were arrested for crack/cocaine. They are releasing and have already began to release people that were arrested for crack cocaine charges. The Barber Amendment has not been passed and I don't even think it has gone to legislation yet.
