Question How to get husbands belongings from county jail

Hi all!
My husband is currently in county jail after sentencing..this still all very new to me.
I need his drivers license for some important papers and they’re in county with him in his wallet.
How can I get his belongings from there?
Thanks!

With my girl, she filled out a "property release" form and it was processed and I went and just checked on it with the visitor staff and then they sent me to a window to get the stuff.

I would call the jail. They will tell you exactly and he should be told if he asks a CO as well.

In AZ, he had to fill out the paper work and I had to call there to make sure they had the form at the property release office before going down there. Once down there I had to wait for someone to bring the property to the waiting room. I was told by the front desk "It could be 30 mins or 6 hours, I don't know" I had to sit for 3 hours. They also required me to show my ID.

& over here I was told they don't release there stuff until transferred out and once transferred there is a 30day period until they throw out there stuff.

Yes I had to check with staff if the paper was processed! I was visiting every week so I just asked at the desk.... If I had to call it would be infinitely frustrating because they don't like to pick phones up!!

Thank you all for your help.
I did finally get his belongings and they’re safe at home with me.
