the only way to get his information is to call the cdc and give them his birthdate and his full name. As the Doc page doesn't give out any type of information on inmates .

Default David Silva

He was featured in a documentery made by Louis Theroux of the BBC. The final part (6/6) can be found on youtube if you search for Louis Theroux: Behind bars or even include Silva's name.

He also features at an earlier point where he talks about what he has done. He does not go into great detail. Check out one of the earlier parts for this. Overall an excellent documentery.

To locate an offender within the jurisdiction of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation you can call the Identification Unit at (916) 445-6713. You must provide the full name and the month, day and year of birth or CDC identification number for the subject of your inquiry. This unit can only provide you with the current location and CDC identification number for the offender. This service is available only Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. excluding state holidays.

Default Inmate location

There is another way. You can sign into www.jpay.com and create an account and look up imates. It will not necessarily give you a specific inmate but it will show you a list of people of that name in that state and it will include there CDC # so you can write and ask if he is the guy on the video if you want. It will not show what prison they are in, just the state. If he is the only one with that name then it's him.

I have been trying to find David Silva ever since the Louis Theroux documentary. The weirdest thing happened. I wrote to him at SQ and it got sent to another prisoner. Then I phoned the prison and they said David Silva isn't there. So it gets weirder and weirder. Hope you have better luck. There is no point in trying the CDC search facility because you have to have David's dob which we don't have.

Cool David Silva

Hi I was wondering did you ever end up writing to Silva? Only I want to but I just want to know what he's like? If he's weird then I don't want to write about him

This thread is fairly old and I don't know if the members posting are still active. But general rule of thumb, if you're writing an inmate...they probably wonder if you're weird, too.
