Visiting at Claremont
It opens at 8:30 AM, closes at 2:30.
The dress code is the same as most prisons
Processing is usually fairly quick
You can bring in money for the vending machines (thats usually all I bring in)
It get's super crowded, the visiting room is super small...
They don't care how far you drive, if it gets crowded you get a 2 hour visit... It gets crowded a lot... Lots of terminations...
They do have an outside visiting area, but its only for inmates with gate passes and to get a gate pass they have to fit certain criteria and have a JOB...
Thats all I can think of for now... If you have more questions PM me...

Hello ladies. My man just got transferred OUT OF recp. from nksp to ccf in Mc farland. I'm so happy! I can't wait to feel his touch! Does anybody have information on visiting? Dress code? It's owned by a private company so I think the rules are different.

I'VE BEEN READIING ABOUT CCF'S AND THE RULES ARE THE SAME AS ANY OTHER PRISON. EVERYTHING STILL APPLIES. SO REMEMBER FOLLOW THE SAME DRESS CODE.

a lot of times the dress code will be on the approval form your inmate sends you for visitation. The safest thing to do is dress very conservative your fist time. then you can gauge what other people wear as you become more familiar. bring a change of clothes too....last time my mom and step dad went to see my fiance they had to drive to target to get a change of clothes. it took about an hour away from visiting because mcfarland is in the middle of no where!! some of the ccfs dont want any white or khaki colord pants too, so i think the safe thing is all black! good luck!

Well ladies, i had my first visit with my fiancee since he left county 5 months ago. It was awesome!! He is now at Claremont CCF, so i just wanted to tell you about my experience and hopefully it will give you some insight. I didn't know what time to get there, so i got there really early. Bad idea. They wont' even let you sit in the parking lot and wait. The dress code is much more relaxed than I thought. The only thing i saw people having problems with were blue jeans. Some others people there didn't have extra clothes, so they had to wear the bright orange jump suit pants. I thought that was pretty cool, that they didn't just deny them a visit. I read the rules there and it says the only colors you can't wear are blue denim and olive green. The visiting room is really small and gets really packed. On saturday my visit was about 3 hours and on sunday a little less that two hours. There are vending machines and a microwave, so bring your $1 bills and quarters, up to $30, i think. They do take polaroid pictures too. I hope this helps, if you have any questions dont's hesitate to ask.

I'm glad your first visit at Claremont was good. Ths staff there is usually very friendly... The only bad thing is the visiting room being so crowded...

Lets also get a forum for Delano CCF. I came from the NKSP Recept forum. Lets all show support. Questions here. Has any of your men ever filled out a 1381 or 1382?
