Arizona Parole, Probation, Work Release & Community ServiceAll information relating to parole, probation, work release and community service in the State of Arizona.
My son is being released from Rincon on Dec. 19 after being incarcerated for 4 and half years. He carries a diagnosis of schizophrenia and is being released to CBI Case Management. I have not been successful at finding exactly who CBI is or where he is going. I do have a call into the Deputy Officer's office and am hoping for a call back. Does anyone have any information on CBI? I called Community Bridges Inc. but they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about, not even sure if that is what CBI stands for. Thank you!
I'm pretty sure it's Community Bridges, but you probably called the place where they detox people. I actually know someone with schizophrenia - a young man - who had no insurance and went through CBI for help. He had never been incarcerated, but he had the state health insurance and that's who they use. He struggled with treatment for many years, but that was because he hung out with the wrong people. He finally turned it around and is doing extremely well. Getting a college education and raising his son as a single dad. I think it is a good program if you surrender yourself to it and follow it.
