they are lucky they can get anyone at all and can't demand loyalty
I think every human being deserves to be treated as such, and all humans need to feel companionship and loved. I imagine prison life and death row is hard enough without feeling completely alone and deserted for a bad decision made in most cases years ago which is mostly like deeply regretted. My pen pal is pleading his innocence and is fighting against his sentence but if he had committed the crime I would still write to him. Some of his opinions I seriously don't agree with but I still write to him. Why? Because he's human, he's a person. He has feelings and hopes and dreams despite everything and a single bad action or decision does not define a person and should not define or condemn them. :-)

A guy on DR is still as human as you or I. Of course they deserve love and loyalty.
I started out writing to my friend as I wanted to be there for a lonely soul and I believe everyone deserves a friend. What I didn't expect was the possibility of meeting my soul mate... I have been writing for six months and I feel like it's been years. I constantly have battles between my heart and head.
I am already married. With two young children. I cannot commit to my soul mate because of this. He totally deserves 100% loyalty. So we remain friends. It wouldn't be fair on either my husband or my friend on the row if I took things further.
I just hope one day he can find someone who is able to commit and love him like he deserves.
No one knows what the future holds and it could affect anyone of our families at any time. I know of a young man who had it all, a pharmacist, beautiful home and family and just in an a split second, his life changed forever. His family's lives did too. Now his wife and children have death row to add to their monthly routine. Such sad stories that everyone needs to hear, how this can happen to anyone, never see it coming. As long as we live in a sinful world with drugs, crime, love of money and power, it will continue to happen. All people need to know God loves them and it is never to late to love someone. It breaks my heart when families desert their loved ones.
I've been with my LO for 2yrs & we're MWI & he's on the Row. He's always been upfront & honest with me & because of that & how we vibe I've fallen in Love with him. I used to be those ppl that talk crap bout the guys on the row & now that am with someone on the row I see ot so different. Sure some deserve what they get & the other guys jus made a bad choice
