I'm interested in hearing from anyone with recent experience at Kemper-Neshoba. Do you know if Marcus Smith, who is a PTO member but hasn't posted in a few years, is still working there? My guy has heard some good things about this facility from another inmate but I'm trying to find out good or bad about it from anyone who has a loved one there.
Hi, I have a friend at Kemper. He says the food is great and its not a real bad place. Its clean. Not many jobs at all though. A custody gets visits every week and B custody gets them every 2 weeks. My friend was at Parchman for 6 years so he is grateful to be anywhere but there. They do have some classes to take to knock off some of the time to serve also. I hope this helped.

Yes I have experience with KNRCF. Its a joke as far as programs for the inmates to earn MET time. The few that can go to the classes are hand picked. Then the Chaplen decides how much MET time to give to each person. Nothing is set. The case managers want do their job and if you write them up look for a RVR real soon. The Warrden is never available to talk to and don't even think that the Sheriff will return a call or be available either.
Does anyone have any loved ones or know what’s it like to be housed at Kemper Neshoba? Recent ones as I see this thread is from 2011/2012. My son was just transferred there from CMCF.
