Arizona Parole, Probation, Work Release & Community ServiceAll information relating to parole, probation, work release and community service in the State of Arizona.
I am curious. If I move out of Arizona before my husband is released, would the AzDoc allow him to be released to our home in the other state? Is there a chance that they will let him do his probation somewhere else?
Thanks everyone for your input!!
Yes there is a chance, but he has to get approved first, he would have to get the ball rolling by talking to his CO III officer about things, and of course you would ahve to be in the new state with the new address for them to approve before his release date, and it has to be to a husband or wifes home, or and immediate family members home... hope this helps if you have any more questions please feel free to ask!!!

He needs to talk to his CO3 about interstate compact. We went through this on his last bid and are going through it again this run. He fills out the packet then it gets sent to Central Office there is one guy who handles these (I can PM you his name and number if you need or want it) AZ contacts the PO office where he wants to go, who in return contacts you (I stopped by his office -took whole 30 minutes if that) then they make the decision and send AZ back a yes or no if approved then when he is released he has "X" days to contact PO (the PO will tell you- we had 4 days to check in-even then he just called)
we did all this in 1 month (they lost his paperwork 3 times) so it's best if you keep on top of it once it gets to Central office .
hope some of this helps and good luck
