Yes, we all have to do our part and get the word out, YES ON 66!!!!!!!!!!

I just got home, a friend of mine & I were out passing out pamplets for Yes on 66. We passed out a little over 500 in 2 1/2 hours. Yes it was cold outside, but in my eyes this is for a good cause. Tomorrow we will be out going door to door passing out door hangers.

If you would like flyers, buttons, post cards, pamplets, bumper stickers, etc... please contact the Yes on 66 headquarters at (916) 290-1867. Just call them and they will ship you these items overnight for free. Please you guys, get the word out there, we only have 1 week left!

I am voting against it because I don't want 4000+ inmates who have already committed at least 2 violent felonies to be put back on the street with my family where statistics say 80%+ of them will commit another crime. In my opinion all Prop 66 is going to do is create more victims.

The above is just my opinion and does not necessarily represent the opinions of this station or its advertisers.

Sgt. I understand your concerns but most of felons will not be released in one full swoop. many will be re sentenced . on any given day how many are released? out of 32 prisons.... and what about those people without a support system or home to go to? 200.00 gate money wont get them very far. CDC needs to bolster their programs so the ones who want to go straight can . I recently read an article on programs in the prisons on Sunday in CC times . San quentin prison was profiled and the program had excellent results. I wonder if all prisons have these programs. Im voting yes on 66

I agree. There needs to be a way to make sure that when inmates leave prison they don't come back. California State Prison is a revolving door right now. It needs to change.

But it isn't gonna change in the near future and I am not willing to risk my family's saftey.

At first I was undecided about Prop 66, now I am voting for it! I had to educate myself on it too! I have been handing out flyers at my apartment. Many people told me that they voted FOR the three strikes law but wasnt aware that it had serious flaws. So...theyre fighting to have this amended. I hope it wins the votes.

WHO in there right mind would be against such nonsence! If so I GOT to know why! It's insane....getting life sentences for petty crime! I think it would be different if the crimes were that of rape or a more serious nature but not for petty crimes!

I have a really good friend that will walk out of prison if it passes cause he's been down sooooooo much longer than he ever would have been sentenced!!!!!!!!

GO PROP 66!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys, it's not over yet....we still must fight to get this passed. When we started, the numbers were at 68% FOR 66, now, after that darn actor's (and all the other past losers that held that same position) campaigning, we are down (as of Sat. 10/30) to 55%. KEEP UP THE FIGHT AND SPREAD THE WORD FAR & WIDE!

Ive been watching the ads and I cant decide which way to go. I have several questions... Will it only release non violent offenders?
Im worried that violent offenders will get out and re-offend, the same thing SGT said.
But I also agree that 3 strikes is not doing the job it was intended for.
I feel very confused on this issue. Sometimes I wonder if some people who are voting for it are doing so just because it will get their man out, but what about the others who will continue their life of crime. I dont want me or my family to be victimized. I would welcome anyones good points on the issue to help me decide. The ads on TV are so powerful for both sides. I understand what Polly Klass's grandpa is saying but I also think the fact that Davis is backing it says something.
UGH,,,Im so Confused on this one!!!
