I had a general question, my boyfriend met with the IPO on April 30th and has been in review every since... I called the Beeville IPO last week and asked for the status and she said that he was still in review. So I then took it upon myself to call the San Antonio Office and ask if the file had even arrived yet. She placed me on hold and came back and said that his file is set to be in the office on Monday, July 15th and they should have a decision by Friday, July 19th. I spoke with my BF yesterday and he stated that he had just did a lay in for DNA or something, do they take their DNA periodically or just when they enter prison and for pre - release?
Blood work is normal procedure for those in review. It doesn't indicate anything about when he's coming home, though. Everyone has to go through it. Only the board can say yes or no. Good luck!
My husband DNA was taken before he even signed his 90 and he finally signed his 90 on 4/30 as well. Though his file was assigned to Gatesville.. it took forever or it seemed like forever for them to vote.. he was finally approved on 6/27 and 6/28 home plan was approved . His release date was on the TDC website by 7/1. Keep calling and I hope you hear something soon. Good luck to you and your boyfriend.
My husband took blood work as well. He thinks it's a sign he's coming home, but I told him don't get his hopes up. We are waiting on a answer to see if he will get his PRD!! Good luck!
